Sava Centar is an international congress, cultural and business centre of various multi-functional activities located in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is the largest audience hall in the country and entire former Yugoslavia and one of the biggest in Europe. It has been host to numerous large-scale events and performances.
In April 2021, the building was declared a cultural monument.

Registration will be possible on all days of the conference, but please register at your earliest convenience.

Name badges

Collect your conference kit and name badge from the registration desk on arrival. A name badge is required for admittance to all official conference sessions and events according to the type of registration. Name badge must be collected by the registered person during the registration desk opening hours. A proof of identity will be needed e.g. passport or any photo ID. It cannot be collected or used by anyone other than the person registered and named on the badge.

Guest attendance policy

All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.

Coffee breaks and Lunch packages
All coffee breaks and lunch boxes are included in the conference fee. Coffee and lunch package will be served in the Exhibition area as per the times indicated in the timetable, (see exhibition floor plan with catering stations). Vouchers for coffee break and lunch boxes are provided as part of the registration package.
Liability and insurance
It is recommended that participants obtain adequate insurance cover for travel, health and accidents before they depart from their countries of residence. The Conference organiser shall not be held liable for personal injury or any loss or damage to the belongings of conference participants, either during or as a result of the conference. Please check the validity of your own insurance. The Organizer will not be liable and makes no guarantee of the number of visitors to the exhibition.
WiFi
WiFi is available throughout the Venue (lecture halls and exhibition area).
Smoking
There is no smoking permitted inside the Venue grounds.
Weather in Belgrade in October
The average temperature in Belgrade in October for a typical day ranges from a high of 67°F (19°C) to a low of 45°F (7°C). Some would describe it as mildly cool with a gentle breeze. In Belgrade in October, there’s a 21% chance of rain on an average day. In more common terms of how much that is, some would describe it as light rain. In October, Belgrade is moderately humid with an average amount of 65% (relative humidity), which could be described as humid but cool. With all this in mind, most people would dress in something moderately warm like a sweater.
Visa Requirements

Visa regulations depend on your nationality and country of origin. We suggest you contact local Serbian Consulate for official instructions on the specific visa regulations and application procedures that may apply to you. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required. Please check here if you need visa and if you need a passport or you may enter Serbia with an ID.

Official Letter of Invitation

Official letters of invitation designed to help overcome administrative difficulties in certain countries will be sent on request. It must be understood that such letters do not represent a commitment on the part of the Organizing Committee or EERVC to provide any financial assistance. Airport transfer

For all information, please contact the city service TAXIINFO, located in the baggage claim area at Nikola Tesla Airport. At the airport Info Desk you will get the taxi receipt specifying the desired destination and the price for taxi service. That way you will make sure the taxi service is in line with the most favourable rate. Payment options: Serbian Dinars, Credit Cards and Euros.

City transportation / Taxi

There is a good public transport system in Belgrade. Most buses operate until midnight. Tickets can be pre-purchased from newsstands or in the buses. Taxis are usually available outside the Venue. Approximate price from venue to City centre is 7,00 €-9,00 € per car.

Parking

There is a parking available in front of the Venue. Price is 1,3 € per hour. Before you leave, you need to void your ticket and pay at the Venue.

Time Zone

The time zone in Serbia is Central European Time (CET) (UTC plus 1 hour).

Currency

The Serbian currency is the Serbian Dinar (RSD). Credit cards (Visa, Eurocard, MasterCard) are accepted in most shops, and ATMs are widely available in downtown Belgrade. You can use Visa, Visa Electron, Plus, MasterCard, Eurocard, Maestro and Cirrus branded cards to withdraw money from an ATM. Belgrade ATMs require 4-digit pin codes.

Electricity

As in most cities of continental Europe, the electricity voltage in Belgrade is 220 V. Electrical outlets are standard European.

Water

Tap water in Belgrade is safe to drink.
