The GR- Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre is in the very centre of Ljubljana. Railway and bus stations are in the area and The Jože Pučnik Ljubljana international airport is in Brnik, which is only 23 kilometers distant from the city.

Registration desk
The registration desk will be located on the right hand side after entering at the main entrance of the Venue and will be open during the following times:

Name badges
At Registration desk, you will receive your conference kit and name badge. A name badge is required for admittance to all official conference sessions and events according to the type of registration. Name badge must be collected by the registered person during the Registration desk opening hours. A proof of identity will be needed eg. passport or any photo ID). It cannot be collected or used by anyone other than the person registered and named on the badge. If you are prevented from attending, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place. Name changes should be notified in writing to Conference Secretariat. A handling fee of 20 € will be charged for each name change. Lost badges will be replaced for registered participants presenting an ID, at a replacement fee of 20 €.
Guest attendance policy
All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.
Coffee breaks
All coffee breaks are included in the conference fee. Coffee breaks will be served in the Exhibition area as per the times indicated in the timetable (see exhibition floor plan with catering stations). Vouchers are provided as part of the registration kit.
Liability and insurance
The Conference organizer shall not be held liable for personal injury or any loss or damage to the belongings of conference participants, either during or as a result of the conference. Please check the validity of your own insurance.
WiFi
Free Wi-Fi is available troughout the Venue (lecture halls and exhibition area).
Visa Information
To enter the Republic of Slovenia, EU/EEA citizens need only a valid identity card, whereas citizens of many, but not all, countries need a valid passport. Participants should contact the nearest Slovene Embassy or consulate for details regarding current passport and visa requirements. All information, including a list of states with corresponding visa requirements and addresses of all Slovene Embassies, may be found on the web page of the Ministry of foreign affairs of the Republic of Slovenia under the topic Visa information.
Official Letter of Invitation
Official letters of invitation designed to facilitate Travel arrangement will be sent on request. It must be understood that such letters do not represent a commitment for the part of the Organizing Committee or Conference to provide any financial assistance. An official invitation letter will be created and sent to you by e-mail within 24h. Please contact EERVC Secretariat for assistance.
Taxi
We recommend you to order a taxi service by phone because stopping a taxi on the street could be more expensive.

Public Transport
By Public Transport
The following lines will get you to the GR Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre (Venue): 3G, 6, 7, 7L, 8, 11, 11B, 12, 12D, 13, 14, 19B, 19I, 20 and 20Z. The Venue address is Ljubljana, 18, Dunajska Street.
By Car
No matter which direction you come from, take one of the city’s main entrances to the city centre. At the crossroads at the Intercontinental Hotel, drive onto the Dunajska Street. Go under the railway overpass and after about 300 metres you will see the Venue halls on the right. If you arrive into the city along Dunajska Street from the North, turn left at the last crossroads before your destination (GR) onto the Linhartova Street, at the first junction, turn right and you will get to the fairgrounds from the back, where the parking lots are.
In the vicinity of the Venue, there are parking lots available along following streets: Vilharjeva, Železna, Linhartova, Valjhunova and Dunajska. During large fairs and events, we also recommend the use of the Bežigrajski Dvor Parking House and the parking lots in Parmova street and at the Railway Museum, only few minutes’ walk away.
Safety and security
Please do not leave your personal belongings, bags or suitcases unattended at anytime.
Time Zone
Slovenian time zone is CET (Central European Time). Slovenia is thus one hour ahead of the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+1).
Currency, Foreign Exchange and Banking
The official currency in Slovenia is Euro. The exchange office closest to the conference venue is located in the World Trade Centre Ljubljana, two blocks away from SEB LU on Dunajska cesta 156.
All major international credit cards are accepted in shops, hotels and restaurants. Traveller’s cheques are also accepted by all banks, travel agencies and hotels, and in many shops. Foreign exchange services are also available at hotels.
Most banks are open weekdays from 8 AM to 4 PM. ATMs (Automatic Teller Machines) are available 24/7 and located throughout the city. Almost all ATMs have a language key which enables you to follow the instructions in English.
Electricity
Electricity in Slovenia is a 230 Volts 50 Hz system. Slovenia uses the Europlug (CEE 7/16). This is the plug used in most other European countries.
Value Added Tax (VAT)
Numerous shops advertising “Tax-Free Shopping” in their windows make it possible for visitors from non-European Union countries to receive a refund of value added tax paid on a minimum of 50 euros worth of goods purchased in a single shop within a single day on condition that the goods are taken outside the country within three months from the purchase date.
Emergency Situations and Medical Services
In case of emergency call 112 (SOS – Ambulance, Fire Brigade) or 113 (Police). These calls are free. No region code is required.
Opening Hours of Retailers
Most stores are open weekdays at least from 9 AM to 7 PM and Saturdays at least from 9 AM to 5 PM. On Sundays large stores are open from 9 AM to 3 PM.
